Sclater Partners has adopted the voluntary AIA 2030 Commitment, choosing to take a leadership role in reducing energy consumption in the built environment. Currently buildings are the largest single contributor to the production of greenhouse gasses. We have committed to participating in an effort to reduce the impact of new buildings by striving to make them “carbon neutral” by the year 2030. As a part of that commitment we have drafted an operational and long range sustainability action plan aligned with the stated AIA 2030 strategies for working toward carbon neutrality.
