Alan has made a significant impact on all facets of architecture and architectural documentation from defining building Codes and authoring AIA Standard Form Documents, widely used in the construction industry, to transcending clients’ expectations as their project ideals are brought to life. He has served as president on numerous boards devoted to the excellence of architecture while serving as principal of a successful architectural firm since 1972. He was elevated to the American Institute of Architects’ College of Fellows in 1998 and is licensed to practice architecture in 13 states. The most current technological advancements in architecture have been at the forefront of Alan’s mind since he began his education at the University of Southern California, School of Architecture. Examples of this are threaded through all projects ranging from single-use facilities to large-scale, mixed use complexes; from new construction to historic renovations. In each project he has a proven ability to accommodate not only the practical issues of budget and schedule requirements but has consistently provided innovative architecture that meets or exceeds each client’s expectations resulting in a client base continually returning for more. |
